COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS: 2D AND 3D PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF NACA AIRFOILS

In simple terms F1 aerodynamics have two primary concerns, the creation of down force, to help push the car tyres on to the track and improve cornering forces, and the minimization of drag, a product of air resistance which acts to slow the car down .In this report, 2d and 3d performance of NACA airfoils was obtained for SCUDERIA TOR VERGATA STUDENT TEAM.
